Employee Spotlight: Michael Black
BOLOUR welcomes back Michael Black, who served the company as In-House Counsel from 2018 to 2021 and returned to the firm in 2024 as Deputy General Counsel. In his role, Michael provides effective advice on BOLOUR’s real estate acquisitions and dispositions, asset management and private lending, equity raise activity, and its implementation across BOLOUR’s footprint in 17 states and the District of Columbia.
Michael also manages the legal elements of BOLOUR’s commercial real estate transactions, acquisitions, deal structuring, equity partnerships, compliance and all related legal matters, to include obtaining and overseeing the work of outside counsel.
Michael’s career spans almost 25 years, with over a decade specializing in the commercial real estate industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Emory University and a Juris Doctorate from the Emory University School of Law.
